I wrote this book for me. I wrote it for that little girl who waited all year for Halloween so she could watch Hocus Pocus for the 100th time. I wrote it for the teenager who couldn't put Harry Potter down. I wrote it for the woman I am now, who still will only think of Sandra Bullock as Sally Owens.  It's also the reason I will hate frogs until the day I die.

I never intended to share this book with the world. It was mine. It's the book I always wanted someone else to write for me, and got too tired of waiting for it.
