Three book deal with Limitless Publishing - The Girl with Hearts Series

 Wednesday, July 30, 2015 I officially signed my contract for a three book deal for my manuscript THE GIRL WITH HEARTS series with Limitless Publishing! (The name is subject to change as we begin the editing process)

As I mentioned before I started the process in April, and was very honest with myself that it was going to be an extrememly long process if it happened at all. During the research process I came along some very helpful resources, including www.manuscriptwishlist.com  The website is produced by agents and they advertised a twitter pitch party.

During a twitter pitch party you make a pitch for your book in a tweet and then use the hashtag the host selected (#Pit2pub). The host has a list of agents/publishers review the feed throughout the day. If they like your pitch then they will favorite your tweet. You then follow up with them via website guidelines to submit your query letter, or sample pages for review.

Over 300 different twitter profiles pitched the first hour alone, and by the end of the day there was approximately 10,500 tweets! I took my girls to the zoo that day, so I preplanned my tweets using tweet deck so they were posted at the appropriate time.

My pitch:

 Henrik didn't break the man code- he defiled it. Sisters are off limits. Even when commando. Right? Maybe? #Pit2Pub #NA #CR

I was fortunate to recieve 14 stars that day from various publishers. That was a lot, so I spent the next couple days researching them and narrowed the list down to four that I thought were a good match for me. One of those was Limitless Publishing.

I sent in my query letter and sample pages and decided to hope for the best. I eventually recieved an email requesting the entire manuscript, and a week later I got the official news. Limitless publishing wanted to offer me a contract!

Thank goodness my husband is an attorney because he was able to explain the contract in detail to me, and answered all my questions as I debated my way through the entire process.

Needless to say I am very excited that within the next year I will be able to share my novel with you!
